I was quickly drawn into the puffs of smoke hand created & photographed by Filippo Minelli. There is a very minimal way to these pictures, but a deep detail as well. Scenery & color. Smoke color. When to click during the smokes release & growth.

Filippo hand makes his smoke bombs because he needs a lot of smoke in a quick burst. Brilliant.

I want this as a print on a dress please.

Hospitality

 Really great new sophisticated pop indie band Hospitality, has everything I want to hear - all at once. It isn't overwhelming, it's more inviting, without being all about handclaps.

 The range in instruments feels like a group of just really cool people that would totally play for you in their garage. That is something I look for in indie bands. I don't want a band that can't do the NPR tiny desk concert because they have some flashy show to make it good.

What have I been up to? Nothing really big. I just have NOT been blogging. It is personally fulfilling, but really that is all my blog currently is - self fulfillment. I will sound totally lame by saying this, but, I usually feel like there is no point in this when there are so many truly amazing blogs out there. Sigh. First world problems fo sho.
